About Us

GECA MUN is an initiative of the students of Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad that works on the motto " Engage, Encourage, Empower ." It aims to create a platform to discuss, debate and work on the prevailing issues of national and international interests and represent the voice of the youth.

MUN was started as a method to bring the youth to professional discussions and give them a chance to put forth their views in a democratic method.

Following the steps, we at GECA MUN validate opinions and strive for action. Our value addition includes an overall personality development coupled with building a youth that can speak for themselves.

Goals :

• Boost the students in their communication skills, public speaking skills, critical thinking skills, lobbying skills, research, teamwork, negotiation and many more.
• Provide the students opportunities to participate in inter-college MUNs and exposures for national and international level conferences.
• Be a hub for sharing stories of impactful MUN activities, best practices, and ways to support, through action, the Sustainable Development Goals.
• Host world-class, student-planned and executed events that allow for further sharing and collaboration around the SDGs.
• Expect to expand the relations between students, country wide.
• Plan to continue its legacy for the benefit of long-life learning for a peaceful and constructive growth in diplomacy.
• Deliver experiential learning opportunities for students that are focused on the SDGs and that bring together diverse individuals from around the world.
